What are the components of an intelligent IC card water meter system?

Release time:

It is generally divided into two types: volumetric water meters and velocity water meters, which originated in the UK.

1. Read/write card refers to a medium that can read and write water meters, among which IC card is the water meter introduced in this article, and its read/write card is IC card. A water meter is an instrument used to measure the flow rate of water, mostly measuring the cumulative flow rate of water. It is generally divided into two types: volumetric water meters and velocity water meters, which originated in the UK. The development of water meters has a history of nearly two hundred years. When choosing a water meter specification, the size and range of the flow rate usually used should be estimated first, and then the water meter with the closest commonly used flow rate to that value should be selected as the first choice.

2. Smart IC card water meter is a type of water meter with prepaid function, which is composed of a water meter with a signal device as the measuring reference meter, a reader/writer card as the medium, a controller, and an electronic control valve. Smart water meter is a new type of water meter that uses modern microelectronics technology, modern sensing technology, and intelligent IC card technology to measure water usage, transmit water usage data, and settle transactions. Compared with traditional water meters that only have the functions of flow collection and mechanical pointer display of water consumption, it is a great improvement. In addition to recording and displaying water usage electronically, smart water meters can also control water usage according to agreements, automatically calculate water fees for tiered pricing, and store water usage data.

3. The backend processing system refers to the hardware and software system that can read and write cards. In this system, the read-write card is responsible for communication between the manager and the user, as well as between the user and the card table, and the user is the holder of the read-write card, which to some extent limits real-time communication between the manager and the user. This non real time nature simultaneously reduces the degree of humanized service between managers and users.
